Interpretive Hikes -- Snowshoeing
Description: Snow shoeing is a great way
to keep kids active in the winter,
and to
make winter outdoor learning even more
fun. Students will learn the
history and the
basics of this form of transportation.
Explore the natural world on
the interior
trails of Presque Isle by identifying tracks,
plants, birds, animals and
more. Snowshoeing can be done in the sand if
there is no snow.
