The Ultimate School Day

When did school become a day at the beach? With TREC! Our educators will teach you about woods, water, and wildlife. Go beachcoming, observe birds, write messages in the sand. Beats study hall any day. Teachers, check out our curriculum and pre lessons.

Get Outdoors Day

Saturday, June 13

Presque Isle State Park will take part in the nationwide Get Outdoors Day. Activities at TREC will include Fish ON!, Kayaking Rescue Class, Imagining Nature and Lagoons by Pontoon.

Native Plant Gardens Opportunities

Volunteers can enjoy the outdoors while assisting staff with weeding, trimming and other gardening chores. It's a great opportunity for students, Scouts, clubs and other groups as well as anyone who'd like to get a little exercise while learning about native plants!

The Lakefront Gobblers Chapter of the National Wild Turkey Federation and Presque Isle State Park will host a chance for women of all walks of life to spend a day away from home, hanging out and having fun outdoors.
